Fixing "BOOTMGR is missing" Error While Trying to Boot Windows 7 or Vista

If your Windows 7 or Vista computer has encountered the dreaded “BOOTMGR is missing” error, you aren’t alone. If the problem isn’t hardware related you can fix it with relative ease as long as you have a Windows DVD handy.

If you don’t have one, you can create a Windows Vista repair disk using our guide.

Boot off the Windows Vista DVD and then click Next at the first prompt:

You should see a link in the lower left-hand side for “Repair your computer”

The installation process will attempt to find your Vista installation directory. If there’s more than one in the list, select the correct one and then use the Next button again.

Click the first link for “Startup Repair”

The installation process will repair the system, and then prompt for you to reboot.

Alternatively you could have chosen the Command Prompt option instead, and use the following command to fix the boot options only:

bootrec /fixboot

At this point you should be able to reboot your computer, remove the DVD and everything should be working.

Set video and audio format:Click Edit button on the main interface, Conversion Settings window will be opened, and you are capable of setting video and audio format freely here, such as, bit rate, frame resolution, aspect ratio, frame size, channel, volume, etc. By the way, you can also split a title by chapter if you desire for smaller individual outputs.

Note:Click Open Queue button on the main interface, Mobile Task Queue window will be opened, at here you can remove a task or add a new task by coping an existing task then change its profile.
Set video effect:Click Video Effect Settings on the above interface, then you can edit the video effect at your whim. You can resize the source aspect ratio and frame resolution; you can crop video's play region manually or automatically; you can also choose the 3D type to be left/right, top/bottom, 100% or 50%.

Blu-ray 3D to MKV 3D > Step 4: Start converting
Hit Start on the main interface to start converting. You can follow the detailed information of the progress, view the pictures from the source Blu-ray changing with different stages, and use auto shutdown function to release yourself during the converting process.
